Here's the outside of the box:

I'm Baaack!! - CCMC118

Hello Again!!
So sorry I haven't posted in a while ;(  Life just seems to get SO busy sometimes!  Good news is school is back in session and the kids are doing well! :)

Today, I have some Halloween Decorations that I made for the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge (CCMC118)

I used some empty glass bottles that I had, filled them with colored water in Halloween Colors and decorated the outside using Stampin' Up!s new Dark & Dreary Stamp Set, DSP, Rub Ons, and Definitely Decorative Vinyl.  I also used adhesive, scissors, punches, cardstock and ink.  I think they've turned out pretty cute!  My kids LOVE them :)

Thanks again for stopping by!

Hello Again

Sorry!  It seems like forever since I've posted!!!  I have been creative, but with late summer family trips, kids back to school, work, soccer etc I'm just busy!!  I've got some new things to show you, so hopefully I'll have time to post more now that the kids are in school.

This is a card I did over a year ago and colored with my COPIC markers....my first attempt.  I thought it turned out well.  This is a digital stamp and I *think* it's from C.C. Designs.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bar-B-Que anyone?

This is a 3-d project I made for my dad for Father's Day....

and here's the card I put inside the grill:

I got the pattern for the grill from Lori Heiling (sorry, I don't have her blog address handy, but I'll try to add that later).  I thought it turned out adorable.  My dad and my nephew were quite impressed.   I used Stampin' Up! punches, cardstock, stamps, ink and adhesive.

Croak

Here's a card I made for the end of the school year....my sons' teacher likes frogs ;)

The frog and flowers were made with Stampin' Up! punches and cardstock, I sponged blue ink on white paper for the background.  The sentiment was printed on my computer and I added "googly" eyes to the frog.  It went together pretty quickly.

Purse-onally Perfect Purse

Here's a pure I made from Becky Roberts (http://www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com/) - it's quite easy to do and she has a tutorial for sale for this and another set of purses.  This is made from retired Stampin' Up! DSP and very vanilla cardstock.

I filled it with teacher goodies for the end of the year thank you gift for my sons' kindergarten teacher.  It has some "bling" rhinestones on it to glam it up.

The little pocket on the front side is held closed with velcro and inside is small 2.5" x 2.5" notecards and matching envelopes (I forgot to take a picture of those).  I used cardstock for the handles, but I think next time I might try some ribbon.

What do you think?  Cute, huh?

Graduation

Here's a card I made (actually I made several in this design) to celebrate Graduation!  I used the Stampin' Up! large star punch and new single Graduation stamp.

I popped the stars up on dimensionals.  I also used Stampin' Up! cardstock and ink.  The patterend paper is some scraps I had laying around.  Very quick and easy, but cute too, I think.

Here's a couple favors I made for nieces and nephews at Easter - I know I'm waaaaay late in posting these, better late than never, right?

These were made using the Big Shot and box die and Stampin' Up! punches, pop dots, adhesive and black marker.  I filled them with Easter candy :)

These are gifts I gave to my daughers' preschool teacher and her helpers.  I found some Yankee Candle votives and packaged them up with a votive holder in some pretty hand made boxes with a 3x3 card of thanks.  The DSP is retired.
I used Snail adhesive, cardstock, dsp, Big Shot and dies, ric rac (non SU), stamps, ink and sticky strip.

Self adhesive die cut stickers were also used.

baby boy album

Here's a little album I made for a friend who recently had a baby...actually I made two of them for two different people ;)
This little album only uses 1 piece of paper and is super easy to put together.

I didn't get very fancy with the embellishments:  I used a variety of stamps, blue ink, binder clip, ribbon button and patterned paper.

I left the inside mostly blank for pictures and journaling/titles.
